Research

Though I have a Computer Science background and education, I’d also say that I’m an engineer at heart. My interests cover a somehow broad range of disciplines starting with my main passion, robotics, and extending to fields like artificial intelligence, control, computer/machine vision, augmented reality, networking and software frameworks, web/internet technologies, and other topics. 

In the past years I got involved in projects dealing with machine learning, active robot learning, artificial surprise and learning by experimentation (you can find more info here). Soon I will be starting my PhD at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e), combining two of my interests: robotics and virtual reality.
